Four spas that will keep the bride and her bridal party happy and stress free before the big day

Born of Earth

Spa Parties: Born of Earth offers spa parties, which can be individualized.

Packages: There are three different packages that the spa offers: The Works, The Body Retreat and The Head To Toe.

Procedures: The Non-Surgical Facelifting Facial is done in a series of treatments, and makes the bride look rested and relaxed. A series of low-level electrical impulses tone and tighten skin from the neck up while increasing collagen.

Recommendations: The Sugar Glow Treatment, Essential Facial with Pumpkin Exfoliating Mask for fall brides, and massages. Owner, David Gerard, also points out that many brides will set up a series of facial treatments six to eight months in advance. Born of  Earth was voted Best Facial for the Best of Westport.


Delamar Southport Spa

Spa Parties: The Delamar spa can accommodate small group parties of about six to eight girls. The parties include complimentary champagne, cheese plate and chocolates.

Massages: The Swedish, deep tissue and hot stone massages are the most popular massages with brides and bridal parties. These massages can be done in 30, 60 or 90-minute time intervals.

According to Sam Sigel, the Spa Director of The Delamar, most brides opt for massages over facials because they want to relax.

Facials: There are a variety of facials that the spa offers, but Sigel recommends the deep cleansing facial or the ultimate facial.

Body Treatments: The Body Buff treatment leaves skin feeling silky and soft, while exfoliating the skin. The Peaks of Slimness treatment reshapes muscle and address signs of cellulite.

Dream Spa

Spa Parties: Dream offers spa parties in both its Greenwich and Westport locations. Usually, the parties are made up of various mini-services, a full lunch/brunch and complimentary mimosas. Parties are customizable, and it is suggested that they are booked 8 weeks in advance.

Mini-Services: According to Lori Dodd, the owner of Dream, the mini-services are made up of 30-minute massages and facials. Any massage or facial can be broken down into a mini treatment, and are perfect for large groups.

Facials: There are 4 different types of facials that brides can choose from: the Aroma Facial, Glycolic Facial, Collagen Facial and Here Comes the Sun Facial.

Massages: Swedish, deep-tissue and hot rock massages are offered at the spa. Dream also offers a reflexology massage the Dream Combossage.

Recommendations: The Salt Scrub, The Dream Experience, and Eyelash Extension.

Lanphier Day Spa

Spa Parties: Spa parties can be done at the spa or at an off-site location. They are customizable, and include complementary mimosas.

Packages: There are two packages offered: The Bridal Bliss Package and the Just for Him Package. The bridal bliss package has everything a bride could need, and was created so that a bride doesn’t have to think about anything.

Hair and Makeup: Lanphier offers hair and makeup services that can be done at the spa or an off-site location, and were voted Best Colorist for the Best of New Canaan/Darien.

Recommendations: The Madagascar mani/pedi because it exfoliates the skin and leaves it glowing, the oxygen facial and the hot stone manicure.
