Light a Fire 2011

Moffly Media presented the 4th annual Light a Fire awards on Thursday November 10th. This unique event, celebrating 10 of our community’s nonprofit and philanthropic leaders was held at the Westport Country Playhouse in the Jason Robards Theater and was dynamically hosted by James Naughton. An elegant cocktail reception attracting 250 attendees preceded the awards ceremony and was catered by Marcia Selden Catering & Event Planning.

The event was made possible by title sponsor George N. Venizelos Managing Director- Investments, Wells Fargo Advisors, while the awards were generously donated and presented by Lux Bond & Green. This special evening benefited the Fairfield County Community Foundation.

Light a Fire saluted those who have gone beyond the ordinary to extraordinary in their giving back to our community. From philanthropists and volunteers to organizations helping families, girls, children and the community, the honorees are a truly unique group.
