New Store Opening in Greenwich

Just in time for the summer season, Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand, Splendid, has opened its first stand-alone boutique in Greenwich. The 1,700 square foot shop opened at 343 Greenwich Avenue on May 15, and offers the line’s colorful collection of super-comfortable basics for women, kids, and babies.

The light-filled shop’s white washed walls, natural wood fixtures, and navy and white striped daybeds blend a beachy California vibe with a touch of nautical Connecticut prep to capture the casual-chic essence of the Splendid brand. The store features kitten-soft t-shirts, perfectly draped cotton dresses, trendy jumpsuits, and other lounge-worthy-yet-sophisticated silhouettes for women. Also prominently featured in the collection is a crayon-bright kids line that includes adorable newborn onesies, boldly striped t-shirts and stretchy leggings for girls and boys, and breezy maxi dresses for notoriously hard-to-please tween girls.

Splendid launched in 2002 with the sole purpose of creating the ultimate t-shirt and found the magic combination of materials to achieve their signature look and superior softness – a blend of 50% Supima cotton – luxurious cotton that gives the fabric body, and 50% micromodal – a form of rayon that drapes like satin and deeply absorbs dyes. Their success in designing an extraordinarily soft, perfectly chic silhouette was the platform that launched what is now a complete lifestyle collection.
