10 things to cook in your outdoor brick oven
The cooler fall weather will finally allow us to entertain family and friends outdoors, which means brick ovens are now firing up all over Fairfield County. Fresh pizza is always a favorite — but after the ham, pineapple and cherry topping maybe it's time to explore some more appetizing options. A quick stop at your local farmers market is all it takes to wow your guests with something more palatable. The best part is that these recipes are easy and require little attention, so you don't miss out on the fun.
Bake bread and roast garlic to go with it, makes for a fabulous fresh bruscetta.
2. Tortilla Chips
Brush whole tortillas with some olive oil, bake until crisp, and serve with your favorite salsa.
Toss in garlic and olive oil, roast them on a baking sheet for about 15 mins. Top with some parmesan and serve with crostini.

8. Cedar-Plank Salmon
*Tip: if the plank catches fire douse it with lemon juice and carry on.
Bake for about 45 mins.
