This year, the culinary extravaganza will honor Chef Angelo Vivolo, owner of Vivolo Restaurant, Bar Vetro, Cucina Vivolo and Bruschetteria in New York City and will feature pastry chef Lisa Maronian, owner of Sweet Lisa’s Exquisite Cakes in Greenwich. Proceeds benefit the important outreach services and programs provided to residents of Fairfield and Westchester counties by Community Health at Greenwich Hospital.

Come to Fairfield University's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts to hear the lecture by Noah Charney, "Traffickers, Thieves and Forgers in the World of Art". As the founding director of the Association for Research into Crimes against Art, Charney's work in the field of art crime has been praised in such international forums as The New York Times and Vanity Fair. Charney is the author of numerous articles and the international best-selling novel, The Art Thief (Atria 2007). Recently a Visiting Lecturer at Yale University, Charney is now Professor of Art History at The American University of Rome.

Horizons 50th Anniversary Gala

Help Horizons at New Canaan Country School celebrate its 50th Anniversary. The special evening will be hosted by Brian Williams, NBC Nightly News anchor and will honor Tim Bazemore, Amy Downer, Lydee Hummel, Roy Pfeil, Nick Thacher, Jane Williams, and John Ziac. The night will include cocktails, dinner, a live auction, giving tree and dancing to Motown classics! Over the last 50 years, Horizons at New Canaan Country School has served thousands of local K-12 students from low-income families, providing year-round academic support, ensuring that all of them are college ready.
YWCA Darien/Norwalk’s “A Roaring 20s Gala”

Reaching back to an era of flappers and jazz, the “A Roaring 20s Gala” will feature cocktails, dinner and dancing as well as silent and live auctions. The elegant evening will transport attendees to the unburdened world when the corset was abandoned for sleek, knee-length dresses and feathery boas. The YWCA Darien/Norwalk is a non-profit organization dedicated to giving women the support and tools they need to transform their lives, be confident in their choices and raise healthy families.
