Join Stepping Stones at their flagship fundraising social event; Kaleidoscope Ball-Learning is a Journey. This black-tie optional, adult-only affair which will feature cocktails, dinner, a unique auction, live music by The Grace Kelly Quintet, dancing and a special awards presentation to a few exemplary leaders within our community. Proceeds from the 2013 Kaleidoscope Ball will help support the museum’s Open Arms initiative.

Enjoy a fantastic evening of great food, bidding wars, and fun at the Time for Lyme Gala. In attendance will be Yolanda Foster, one of the stars of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” who will receive the Star Light Award. Foster was selected for the honor because she has spoken openly about her struggle with chronic Lyme. Proceeds from the gala will help support the Lyme Research Alliance.

Come to Fairfield University's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts to hear the lecture by Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson, "This Just In: Latest Discoveries in the Universe". Dr. Tyson is an astrophysicist, science communicator, the Frederick P. Rose Director of the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space, and a research associate in the Department of Astrophysics at the American Museum of Natural History.

Great Race

Westport | April 28

Walk, jog or run at the 36th Annual Minute Man Race. By participating in the race you will help the Westport Young Woman’s League make a positive impact on the community. Try the 5k or 10k and make sure to bring the kids for the Kids’ Fun Run. This is one of the largest fundraisers of the year that helps fund local charities in the town of Westport and the surrounding Fairfield County area.

Landmark Recognition

Greenwich | April 28

The Greenwich Landmarks Recognition program was created in 1987 to recognize, document and preserve the architectural heritage of Greenwich. Since then, the Historical Society has given a historic plaque to nearly 300 homes from Colonial to Post-modernist structures, both public and private. The event celebrates the newest landmarks and their current owners.
