In an effort to move away from New York City, Katherine Gulotta found more than just a new city and a chance to ski. She met her husband-to-be, Andy Ward, when she moved to Park City, Utah. At the end of that first ski season, the two began to date.

When Katherine later moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for a job, Andy followed her. After two years of dating, Andy finally got his girlfriend off a work phone call to enjoy the view from the deck of his family’s ski condo in Park City. Katherine was not expecting what came next: a marriage proposal.

Katherine and Andy were married at the Saint John’s Episcopal Church in Jackson, Wyoming, by Reverend Mary Erickson. The bride and groom then joined their family and friends at one of the last working cattle ranches in Jackson Hole at the Snake River Ranch.

The bride is the daughter of Christine and Charles Gulotta of Bridgeport. After attending Fairfield High School, Katherine went on to receive her bachelor of science degree in finance from Villanova University. Working at the Four Seasons Resort, Katherine works as the catering and conference manager at the hotel in Jackson Hole.

Andy is the son of Robert Ward and the late Edith “Dede” Ward of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. He attended Malvern Prep in Malvern, Pennsylvania, and went on to receive his bachelor of arts degree in business management from Gettysburg University. Andy currently works as the general manager at the Calico Restaurant in Jackson Hole.

The couple will return to their Wilson, Wyoming, home after a honeymoon to Bora Bora and Moorea in November.
