Retailers move outdoors for the annual sidewalk sales throughout Fairfield County

Darien July 12-14

This popular sales event features Darien merchants exhibiting along the Post Road and at the Goodwives and Noroton Heights Shopping Centers. Many bargains, with discounts of up to 70 percent, are expected to be offered. On Saturday July 14th, Day Street will be closed to vehicular traffic to permit more people to stroll, enjoy the shade, a hot dog truck and hanging flower baskets and the inflatable children’s entertainment. There will be gift bags and free balloons from the many new shops on Tokeneke Road.

Fairfield July 27-28

Fairfield will be buzzing with bargain hunters for their annual sidewalk sales. Participating retailers are offering steals on everything from apparel to accessories and much more! Enjoy an outdoor lunch at one of downtown's many restaurants.

Greenwich July 12-15

On Saturday, and Sunday, face painting and balloon art for children, along with live music and ballroom dancing, will entertain shoppers and their families as they find bargains and discounts on high fashion, sportswear, shoes, gifts, jewelry, household goods and more from participating retailers and businesses and tasty fare from participating restaurants.

New Canaan July 14

There will be a little inventory spring cleaning going on, where many of the best deals spawn from, but some merchants have specifically ordered their customers' favorite items to be sold at discounted prices for just that day.

There will be entertainment in all shapes and sizes, such as The Great Scirico, who "will mesmerize kids" with magic tricks and balloon animals, courtesy of People's United Bank. The Bank of New Canaan will once again be bringing the "Money Machine" and of course, each year Karl Chevrolet sets up at the end of Elm Street with all kinds of entertainment.

Westport July 13-15

Downtown Westport will be buzzing with three days of steals and deals featuring mens, womens and childrens apparel, accessories, giftts, jewelry, shoes, home decor and much more.
