Catch a Healthy Habit, Fairfield

Whether your diving into the extreme or just want to dip you toes in the vegan waters, Catch a Healthy Habit’s menu will make raw eating a little less scary. An intensive smoothie and juice list, a nut seed and veggie burger on onion bread drizzled with ranch and BBQ sauce (of course you can leave that off to make it even healthier!), and tomato, basil spaghetti made with zucchini noodles and sundried tomatoes are just a few meal to go options ready to satisfy your hungry without ruining your diet.

Garleick and Herbs, Greenwich, New Canaan, and Westport

Husband and wife owned Garleick and Herbs is a great spot to grab lunch on a 30-minute work break. Kick the old house salad and prepackaged greens and choose to build your own salad from a buffet of fresh veggies and cheeses. Or, order one of their menu salads, such as the California Apple (made with mesclun greens, apples, grapes, walnuts, gorgonzola Cheese and Citrus Vinaigrette) or dive into a delicious sweet potato bisque soup.

Panera Bread, Darien, Westport, and Fairfield

If a chain restaurant is more your style, Panera Bread is one of the healthier options. The new Power Menu has enough protein packed variety to keep you energized the whole day through. From salads and egg and turkey bowls, to hummus dishes and hearty steak, lettuce wraps, Panera’s Power options are made with all natural, antibiotic free meats and proteins, and fresh veggies. Created to give your body nutrients to sustain energy all day, Power Menu meals are a great alternative to a soup and a bread bowl.

Rowayton Pizza, Rowayton

Sometimes, you're just in the mood for pizza, and this is your option for being a little healthier than the usual! Whether you have an allergy or just prefer gluten-free eating, you can find an option that suits your appetite.
