Think beyond that red cellophane wrapped heart-shaped box of chocolates this year and really impress your sweetheart with fine, phenomenal, mouth-watering hand crafted chocolates from any one of these amazing chocolatiers.

Isabelle et Vincent is a little slice of French heaven on the Post Road. Owner Vincent Koenig is a 2nd generation Master Chocolatier from Strausbourg, France. You will always find his wife Isabelle behind the counter taking orders and coordinating a bakery that runs with the precision of a Swiss clock. You'll score some points by taking her with you and perhaps catch a glimpse of Vincent as he crafts his chocolate creations in the temperature controlled “Chocolate Room” where the magic happens.

Make Her Swoon – A sampling of Nougatines, Pralines, Azurs, Rochers (and more!) are all handmade to thrill your taste buds. Their singular, decadent, chocolate punch will make your heart beat faster and cause your lips to curl in an instant smile.

Knipschildt Chocolatier  and Chocopologie Cafe's chef Fritz Knipschildt of Denmark puts his culinary experience to the test by intermingling sweet and savory flavors creating mind-blowing, hand-crafted, palate pleasing chocolate confections packaged in beautiful hand made paper boxes.

Shock and Awe– If you really want to make an impression (and you've recently come into a rather large inheritance) buy La Madeline au Truffe, dubbed the most expensive chocolate in the world by Forbe's Magazine. This $250 chocolate is made with a rare French Perigord truffle encased in a decadent ganache, then coated with Valrhona dark chocolate and finished with a dusting of fine cocoa powder. The truffle is presented on a cloud of sugar pearls inside a silver box. Because it is handmade to order, you'll need at least 2 weeks for delivery.

In addition to their more than 50 standard offerings they make 100's of molded novelty chocolate shapes like Hot Rods for Father's Day, Caps & Diplomas for Graduation Day and of course Roses for Valentine's Day.

Custom Creations – Choose your chocolate, a written message, or add an edible full color image on bars of chocolate and molded objects. “Will You Marry Me?” is a good bet!

The Little Chocolate Company's owner and chocolatier, Martine Coscia, was born and raised in Belgium so she really knows her chocolate. Martine's chocolates are always handmade, to order, using the finest organic and natural ingredients available and of course, the finest Belgian chocolate.
