Coromandel

The Fez

If you want to kick up the heat in your relationship this sensual middle Eastern gem is the place to come in the heart of Stamford's restaurant row. From the ambiance to the small tasting plates for sharing it's a feast for the eyes, as well as, your palette.

Hours— Monday-Wednesday 11:30AM-11PM, Thursday 11:30AM-Midnight, Friday 11:30AM-1AM, Saturday 5PM-1AM, and Sunday 5-11PM.

Farmhouse at Bedford Post

Considered a favorite by romantic couples and foodies this restaurant boasts incredible food, service and co-owner Richard Gere. Your date may not be the only gentleman you're ogling…

Hours— Wednesday - Sunday 5:30 − 10PM, Sunday 5:30 − 9PM.
Atmosphere— Contemporary, you'll be spending more time starting at the food (and your date's eyes of course)

La Cremalier

This French Country Restaurant is in a 1750 white clapboard farmhouse called the "Widow Brush House". The warm wood paneled walls are adorned with oil paintings and the floral drapery will make you feel like you're having a cozy dinner in a good friend's home in the French countryside. Sip your wine and enjoy an evening filled with romance and fine dining.

Le Chateau

Just over the Ridgefield town line this charming restaurant has excellent French food, the dark paneled woodwork interior and stone fireplaces create a cozy environment whether you're seated in their intimate dining rooms or the grand banquet rooms, lovely outside dining on the terraces overlooking the formal gardens (weather permitting), and the stunning views of the Hudson Valley make sunset dining a must. If you are up for it, there's serious couples dancing, too.

Luc's Café

Be transported to France for a few hours while in this terrific neighborhood French restaurant. Owner Hervé Aussavis opened Luc's in 2001 and has been pleasing Nutmeggers ever since. The warm, cozy atmosphere makes you feel as though you're dining across the pond.

Hours— Non Stop Service, Monday – Saturday 11AM − closing.

Liana's Trattoria

Those in the know (and there are many so definitely make a reservation) make dining at owner Liana DiMeglio's Italian restaurant a regular habit. Tucked away in a little multi-business building on Tunxis Hill Road, it's easy to zoom past so set your GPS because missing out on their food would be a tragedy.  

Hours— Tuesday - Thursday 5:30 − 9:30PM; Friday & Saturday 5:30 − 10PM. Closed Sunday & Monday.

Make your dinner reservation for at least a 1/2 hour before sunset to enjoy an expansive waterfront view and the stunning sunsets overLong Island Sound. Be sure to request a table by the window.

Redding Roadhouse

For a casual date go early and score a spot on the tufted leather love seat in the Tap Room in front of the large stone fireplace. The food is good and you can snuggle for hours in front of the fire.

Hours— Monday-Thursday noon-closing, Friday & Saturday noon-11PM, Sunday Dinner 1-9PM & Brunch Buffet 11AM-2PM.
Atmosphere— Ye Olde New England Tavern, dark wood paneling and roaring brick fireplaces in each room
Cuisine— New American
Signature Dish— Upside-down Chicken Pot Pie in a puff pastry bowl with mashed potatoes
