Get Local, Get Healthy — Join a CSA
Stacy Bass
Summer will be here before you know it, with the beautiful weather comes an amazing opportunity to venture into the world of farm fresh foods. CSA or Community Supported Agriculture is a new way to reconnect with your kitchen, from seed to table. Eat locally, cook creatively and feel healthier this summer as you help support local farmers!
How does it work?
In exchange for purchasing a share of the farm, members enjoy a weekly bag of the freshest, best tasting vegetables available. All farms are different though CSA seasons generally runs for 20 weeks from June through October. Get outside and head to the farm to pick-up your CSA share or enjoy the convenience of a farm that delivers in your area! Membership often includes recipes, community workdays, cooking workshops and more!
