Inspired classes and services for students with Autism and Asperger's Syndrome at IDEA for Autism, Inc.

IDEA for Autism, Inc's mission is to assist all individuals with disabilities in becoming independent, fully functioning, and contributing members of society. Located in Fairfield County, IDEA for Autism, Inc. offers a full curriculum of courses and opportunities for students with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and other neurological differences.

Some of their programs include the IDEA Learning Center School (for students from 17 to 21 to prepare them for the transition to adults services), the IDEA University (for students 21 years and up who are able to participate in college-level curricula), as well as, Career Support, After Hours, Lifetime Resource Center, and the Evaluations & Treatment Center.

As with most great ideas they need the community's support to continue offering their extraordinary programs. Your donation will fund services for people with autism, promote autism awareness, family counseling, community services and assistance for families helping them obtain the appropriate therapies and treatments. One way to lend your support is to sign up for their 3rd Annual "Walk in the Park" and take a stroll for a great cause. Visit their website for more information about the walk, and other ways to donate and support IDEA for Autism, Inc.
