When Kathleen (Shea) Gleason decided to visit her friend Kelsi in New York City, she didn’t expect to meet the love of her life. Kelsi took Shea to a party at Tommy’s apartment that Saturday. Shea and Tommy hit it off but lived thousands of miles apart. After Shea graduated college and Tommy was still in Texas working on his master’s degree, she decided to call him up. A week later, Tommy worked up the courage to ask her out.

After dating for a little over two years in Dallas, the two knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Following dinner at Shea’s favorite restaurant, the two went back to Tommy’s apartment where he proposed. They shared the news with their families and headed out to celebrate with friends and family.

The couple was married at the St. Pius X Parish in Fairfield by Father Brian Shanley. Friends and family enjoyed a Texas-sized wedding celebration in Connecticut at Tommy’s family home in Fairfield.

Shea is the daughter of Katie and Tom Gleason of San Antonio. She graduated from Antonian College Preparatory in San Antonio and continued her studies at the University of Texas at Austin. Shea now works as a regional sales representative at Mansfield Oil Company in Dallas.

The groom is the son of Patti and Tom Keegan of Fairfield. He graduated from The Taft School in Watertown and received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Tommy works as a real estate consultant for Greystone Communities in Dallas. The couple took their honeymoon on the Amalfi Coast before returning to their Dallas home.
