On the Bright Side
What's in Store: Fairfield
As exciting as my job is… sitting at my desk for days and weeks on end can be a little draining so I grabbed our editorial assistant Cassandra and we took off to Fairfield for a day of fresh air and some field research. Being a resident of Fairfield, it was fun to see what the local stores were carrying and to finally have a chance to check out the newest boutique in town.
Apricot Lane has so much merchandise in the store you really have to spend time looking in every corner so you don't miss something. You'll find lots of denim here and in a range of colors, tons of great jewelry and I was especially digging this nude stiletto from Steve Madden. I love talking to business owners who are passionate about what they do so I felt lucky to catch Diane Holtz for a quick Q&A. With her extensive background as a retail executive I was interested to find out what makes her tick.
What is Apricot Lane's style? Fun, trendy fashion for moms and daughters
