With an average temp of fifty degrees and not a flake of snow to date, the winter season on the east coast this year has thrown more than just our internal barometers for a twirl. While our cashmere scarves may have to stay neatly tucked away, the one accessory that can be worn in any season is perfume. After completing the creation of my fresh and clean scent of Greenwich Girl ™ eau de parfum with the guidance of Sue Philips, founder of Scenterprises and scent-ologist extraordinaire, I not only got a deeper sense of how important our sense of smell is but I embraced an entirely new perspective on what ones personal preference of scent truly means.

Sue Philips, a South African native who is now New York based, is the international mastermind behind world-renowned scents, such as the Burberry and Trish McEvoy lines, and is the sole creator of the Tiffany and Company Signature scent. Between her return from the coast of Spain and her journey to Venice, I was not only lucky enough to work one-on-one with Sue, but I was able to ask her a few personal Q's that left me only wanting more!
