Well people unless you have been away for a while, you would have known that it was Fashion’s Night Out all across the country last Thurs September 8.
While many stores were having their own soirées around the globe, our very own Mitchells of Westport was rocking to the music with a live fashion show of what’s HOT and what’s NOT for Fall.
As the DJ was spinning out the mood, and the cocktails and food were aplenty, everyone was able to view Mitchell’s finest attire for the upcoming season.
I tagged a number of items for myself at the store. A fab black python belt with an oval silver trim buckle… a must have with jeans to a dress! As a lavender palette of a Missoni skirt and a fun fur vest walked down the runway, I knew they were earmarked for me as well. I even figured out when and where I’ll be wearing this “stop them in their tracks” outfit.
There were even some new vendors at stations around the store showing their lines of jewelry and handbags. The store had a colorful, vibrant energy that night and all that was missing were the searchlights shining above the store in Hollywood fashion. Fun was had by all and money was raised for Pink Aid! Win-win!
Well onto the next gala….can’t wait!
