Moffly Media looked to the area chefs and restaurateurs for recipes to their most popular dishes and they were happy to oblige. Panna Cotta -- Creamy Italian Pudding

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Preparation:
  1. Pour milk in bowl and sprinkle gelatin on surface. Let stand 5 minutes until dissolved.
  2. Combine cream and sugar in saucepan.
  3. Add vanilla and bring to a light simmer (avoid boiling) while stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  4. Whisk in gelatin mixture until completely dissolved.
  5. Pour custard into martini glasses or ramekins and refrigerate overnight or a minimum of 4 hours.
  6. Serve with a topping of chocolate sauce or fresh fruit.
