North Carolina Vinegar BBQ Sauce

# of Servings: 1.5 qts
  • 1 quart malt or red wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cups Texas Pete Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup red pepper flakes
  1. Place all ingredients in large mixing bowl. Mix well.
  2. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  3. Add sauce to taste over pulled pork or other smoked meats.
  4. The sauce keeps forever in a refrigerator and improves in flavor as it sits.
