Ladies Open Mic Night, Harmony on the Sound Chorus

Regional championship chorus Harmony on the Sound will host “Ladies Open Mic Night” - an open rehearsal for women who love to sing and are interested in learning more about the chorus. Guests of all ages and singing abilities are invited to sing with the chorus in a fun, relaxed rehearsal on January 16 at St. Joseph’s Manor, 6448 Main Street in Trumbull.  Guests are asked to arrive at 7:00 p.m, so rehearsal can begin at 7:30 p.m.   Refreshments will be served.

The Harmony on the Sound Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, an organization of nearly 25,000 women worldwide who sing four-part a cappella harmony, barbershop style. The members are from all walks of life and range in age from 23 to 83. 

Any woman of average singing ability, with or without vocal training, will find a part that fits her voice range with the help of the chorus’ musical leaders and Master Director, Karen Sweeters.
