Fairfield County Women Against MS Luncheon

This year former NBC Today Show Host, Meredith Vieira as the Georgina B. Davids Award recipient and her husband, award winning journalist and author, Richard M. Cohen are the keynote speaker. Women Against MS (WAMS) is a nationwide National MS Society educational and fundraising event which promotes public awareness of MS and the National MS Society. Highlights of the event include boutique shopping, a full course luncheon, silent drawing and an agenda of inspirational presentations. Past keynote speakers include: Diane Sawyer, Journalist and News Anchor; Susan Saint James, Actress and Activist; Mary Higgins Clark, New York Times Bestselling Author; Debbie de Varona, US Olympic Hall of Fame Swimmer; Melissa George, Actress; Jacquelyn Mitchard, New York Times Bestselling Author; and David Osmond, Singer and Songwriter. It is anticipated that more than 300 women from Greater Fairfield County will come together at the 2012 event to support the fight against multiple sclerosis.
