Each fall millions of parents send their children off to college and their homes are transformed. The proverbial nest gets emptier. The newly emptied nest is a paradigm shift in many ways for parents and a time of mixed emotions; celebration, melancholy, pride, to name a few. This fall, Kenise Barnes will send her youngest child out into the world. We have organized an exhibition titled Empty Nest to commemorate the launch of one of our own fledglings.
On September 28th, Kenise Barnes Fine Art will open a new exhibition each exploring the imagery or the metaphor of “the empty nest”. Five artists from around the country contributed to this exhibition. The artwork presented is both thematically linked and visually diverse; it includes painting, drawing and photography. The show represents the best of what Kenise Barnes Fine Art has built a reputation on for almost two decades.
Gallery hours: Tuesday – Saturday 10am–5:30pm and evenings by appointment.
Please contact Kenise Barnes, director (Kenise@KBFA.com) or Leanne Bruno, gallery manager (Leanne@KBFA.com) for further information, images of artwork, or to arrange a pre-view of the exhibition.
