Friday, September 28, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Gala Preview Party, with open bar, buffet, variety of wines and Silent Auction. Birds In Their Habitat Art Exhibit and Sale September 29 and 30 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm The Connecticut Audubon Society brings together talented artists who specialize in avian art during its third annual Birds In Their Habitat juried artists’ exhibition and sale. Gifted artists working in a variety of media have been selected to display and sell their works by a jury of specialists to ensure quality and professionalism. Media includes: painting, photography, pottery, printmaking, and wood carving. Also featured is Connecticut Audubon Society 2012 “Artist of the Year” David Allen Sibley who is an internationally recognized award-winning author and illustrator of nine books, most notably “The Sibley Guide to Birds”. |
