Napa & Co has been conducting wine classes since its inception in 2006. They are held every other Monday and take 1 to 1-1/2 hours. The prices range based on the wine region or producer from $40 to $100pp and include foods paired with the wines. The classes take on an informal academic approach and take out the pretension behind wine. It provides a forum for customers to learn but also ask the questions they’ve always wanted to ask without feeling intimidated, such as, “How long do I age a wine?”, “What do I pair with Thanksgiving?”, “What temperature should I serve red wine?”, etc. The owner/sommelier typically conducts the classes and provides 20 years of restaurant experience to help customers navigate buying their next bottle whether in a wine shop or any restaurant wine list.

On special occasions, Ms. Schaffer brings in guest speakers and this is one of those occasions. The Louis Jadot wine class will feature 12 wines and 4 courses paired with wines.
