Color Me Event Rentals

Punch some rental fun into your spring and summer parties

From the runway to your walkway and the red carpet to your tabletop, event rental companies have been fueled by the resurgence of color, print and texture. As event planners, we are thrilled by the tremendous expansion of options to inspire clients with fresh ideas. Rental companies are using cues from fashion and even technology to enhance mostly any event environment. From large galas to intimate lunches, consider packing a pop of temporary color and returning it the very next day. Here are a few ways to get your warm weather party planning started:

Designer Lines

Designer furnishings aren’t just for show at your favorite interiors boutique. Consider this beautiful Lilly Pulitzer rental collection that would make any ladylike event stand out. Pair bold floral prints with bright bouquets for an instantly glamorous garden party. Add a few clear or colorful chairs, or compliment with your existing decor. Wearing your favorite Lilly dress is optional.

Color Cubes

While rental companies attend the most prestigious furniture shows to research trends, Architects are also diversifying their portfolios for the event industry. These color cubes and tables from modern icon Frank Gehry bring a burst of color to any event as extra seating, end tables or favor displays. Cubes and ottomans can be found in heaps of colors and materials.

Cheery Chairs

Everyone is familiar with the white “reception” chairs that many venues supply. While they are convenient (although we’re often scrubbing them on site), we’re thrilled to see various color options. Colorful chairs add instant eye appeal and can be delivered the day before your event and taken away the day after!  We’ve used these bright chairs under tents, in sleek hotel spaces and at children’s parties. Pair with a crisp linen or bare wooden farm table.

Graphics Galore

Browse any clothing storefront and you’re likely to see vibrant prints in a variety of fresh hues. Prints bring infinite possibilities to event spaces and usher in the season in a fashion-forward way. Whether your look is clean, elegant or rustic, select one or two printed elements and allow them to pop.

Texture

Using texture is another simple way to decorate without committing to an entire space overhaul. Many clients hosting at-home gatherings tell me they reuse their linen, change the florals but want more customization. Consider renting one texture rich linen for a complete room makeover. Lame, rattan, burlap, denim, faux fur and painted fabric are just some texture options. Spandex linens add sleek appeal and keep tables in place at windy outdoor events.

Thinking about renting tables? Color soaked tabletops add splash without any linen required. Tabletop surfaces such as mirror, lucite, laquer, leather, vintage wood and event aqua fillable (yep!) require no linen at all. You can even project video onto tabletops!

The Fixins

The smaller décor elements are my favorite way to make an event stand out yet remain personal. Whether it’s a great assortment of powder room pampering’s or a unique pillow, renting accessories is a great way to keep your home looking like “your home” but vamping it up a bit. Brighten darker spaces with colorful chandeliers or vases. Everything from throw pillows, trays, lampshades, outdoor umbrellas & candlesticks can be rented. Serve cocktails on bright lacquer trays or ice cream sundaes in vintage milk glass.

So, never fear that your neutral palette cannot pop or that your venue offered white folding chairs. Consider taking seasonal cues combined with your inspiration and add some rentable punch to your next soiree!
